I am greatly rejoiced and proudly place on record the fact that Shivaji Arts and Commerce College, Hingoli the visionary dream of its founder Chairman Mr. Shivajirao E. Pawar a humble servant of education whose little mission a decade ago to transform a small college into a big one, has unfolded into an institution of glorious past and great future.

This college is affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. This college was established in the year 1998 to disseminate Higher Education to rural students from this area and around. College is located on Hingoli- Kothlaj road in a beautiful campus. Three U.G. programmes (B.A., B.Com & B.Voc.) are run in the college. Our college is one of the premier institutes imparting quality based higher education at undergraduate level in our region. Our college has Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University Centre and Distance Education Centre from our affiliated university through which we have provided an opportunity of higher education. The college has spacious, well equipped laboratories, smart lecture halls etc. We provide excellent library facilities with reference books, national and international journals, advanced digital library facilities etc.

We take pride in our infrastructural facilities, experienced and dedicated teaching faculty, student and staff support systems and excellent teaching and learning environment, for all round development of our students. Administrative staff extends their prompt and humble services to students and other stakeholders.

The students are also encouraged to participate in various co-curricular and extracurricular activities to showcase their talents. The aim is to make learning an enriching, fulfilling, and enjoyable experience through a multidisciplinary approach, combining theory and practice in pedagogy. The focus should be on not only 'what is taught' but also 'the way it is taught'. Research being an important pillar of academic growth, the thrust has to be on socially relevant, locally need-based, nationally important, and globally significant research initiatives.

We aim at providing sufficient opportunities to each student to discover and understand themselves, and face and overcome challenges presented to them to make college life fulfilling and complete. The aim behind all our co-curricular and academic activities is not only to impart bookish knowledge but to provide the environment for young minds to take wing.
